Rachael Okotete with the decisive strike in the 56th minute that lifted Delta Queens to the sixth spot with nine points from five matches while Bayelsa Queens remain in the first position with 12 points from as many games. But the Restoration Ladies have their lead cut down to a point ahead of the next round of games next week.
At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Edo Queens just did enough to earn the maximum points off embattled Nasarawa Amazons. Elizabeth Zirike’s 38th-minute undertaking was enough to deliver the maximum points. Edo Queens moved to third on the table with 11 points from five games while Nasarawa Amazons are twelfth with three points from five games.
