Molde FK striker, Leke James has revealed that he and his teammates are in good shape and are ready to correct the mistakes that led to their emphatic loss to Arsenal in the Europa League three weeks ago.
James fired two league goals for his Norwegian Eliteserien side over the weekend in their 3-0 away win over Stabaek to record 11 goals in the league alone from 18 games and the Striker opined that he is fired up ahead of their Thursday Europa League tie with Arsenal.
“It was a bad day for us against Arsenal at the Emirates. The game didn’t just click despite several efforts by us,” James told www.dasportstainment247.com
“I am happy that I have been able to start a league after fully recovering from injury. I am glad I marked my return to the first 11 with two goals. I and my teammates can now concentrate on our game with Arsenal. The game with Stabaek was a good test for us and it was nice we won 3-0.
“We are training very hard for Arsenal and our central defender that missed the game with Arsenal at the Emirates is back in the team. Our fans should expect a good game from us.”
Molde are second in the Europa League with six points from three games behind Arsenal who have nine. They are also second in the Norwegian league with 50 points from 25 games behind runaway league leaders, Bodo/Glimt who have 68 points from the same number of matches.
