SWAN Celebrates Imo Deputy Speaker
Flagship Sports Writers in Imo State and beyond, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Imo Chapter has joined other good people of Imo State to wish one of her distinguished Patrons, the Deputy Speaker, Imo House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu on the occasion of his birthday.
The fourth Estate of the Realm in a press statement signed by the Imo SWAN Chairman, Everest Ezihe and Secretary, Tunde Liadi the body praised the political sagacity and ingenuity of the Deputy Speaker who is revered to as Mr. Capacity for his life touching and impactful activities and pray that God grant him the verve, energy and capacity to continue serving his people.
“Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter heartily rejoices with one of our Distinguished Patrons, the Deputy Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu on the occasion of his birthday ceremony which holds today Tuesday, 6th July 2021,” the body’s statement wrote.
“We in SWAN, Imo Chapter say happy birthday to an astute and resourceful legislator, an administrator par excellence, an erudite politician, a great leader and a good team player who has etched his name in gold in the history of the legislature in Imo State.

Hon Amara was born in Owerri, Imo State in 1980s, grew up in Surulere, Lagos where he attained secondary education as Kings College and later proceeded to University of Nigeria, Nsukka for a degree in Banking and Finance.
Prior to Amara’s intention to run for the Imo State House of Assembly under PDP representing Nwangele LGA, Hon Amara who is youthful both in character and personal relationship had assisted communities and individuals.
He personally undertook the rehabilitation of roads in some wards. In his speech during the flagging off ceremony at Nkwo Onyeukwu market Square Abajah in December 2017; Amara Iwuanyanwu who defected to APC in April, 2020 for better political alignment, pointed out then that the project was non-partisan, adding that the well-being of an average Nwangele Indigene is his major concern.
