Tsenba Wummen Under 14 & 16 Football League returned from its two weeks hiatus last weekend with Week 15 fixtures played in both categories in Jos, Plateau State. There were 39 goals scored in the Under 14 while the Under 16 produced 38 goals for a combined 77 goals notched from 20 games for an average of almost four goals per game. The league has always been producing lots of goals garnished with good football artistry.
Mees Palace Football Academy and Relentless Football Academy continued to show they are a class apart from other teams in the Under 14 as they maintain the gap difference between them and others with another irrepressible performance last weekend while FC Izam and St. Monica continued to heat up the chase on runaway leaders, Mees Palace FA with impressive victories in the Under 16.
Under 14 Wrap
Gangere Youths got demolished 7-1 by Relentless FA who kept their title race alive by the emphatic win. They still trailed league leaders, Mees Palace FA by two points but they have garnered 39 points from 15 games. Relentless FA continue to keep Mees Palace who silenced Super Stars 3-1 to leap to 41 points at bay through their consistent performance almost every matchday.
With massive 11 and 9 points gap over third placed Jr. Sporting Boys who have 30 points from 14 games the battle for the league title is turning to two horses race between Mees Palace, and Relentless FA in the Under 14.
Jr. Sporting Boys smashed Young Reformers 3-1 to cement third spot with 30 points while Highland FA fell 1-0 to Elspuron. Vet Glory pipped Invaders 2-1. Jazzy Stars thrashed Top Free Academy 3-0.
Ceemonie SA climbed to the eighth spot with 24 points from 15 games after they beat Young Stars 3-1. Young Stars slipped to the 16th spot with 13 points with the loss.
There were wins also for Multiple Waves, and SJC Lions while Light FC and Young Champions played an entertaining 3-3 draw.
Under 16 Wrap
Mees Palace FA struck their 75th goal of the season from just 15 games in their 4-0 annihilation of Adalchi to extend their points haul to a maximum 45. They have opened a six-point gap on second-placed FC Izam who also secured a 2-0 victory over fourth-placed Rahbam FA to claim 39 points. FC Izam are the other undefeated team beside the defending champions, but both are yet to clash with four games to the end of the first stanza of the season.
St. Monica’s FA are further three points off the top two despite snatching a 2-1 win against Samba Boys. They have 36 points. Kuru Young Stars maintained their fifth spot with a 3-0 routine win over Top Free Academy. They have 29 points while Galatians FA complete an unchanged top six after they pummelled Yard FC 5-0. They are sixth with 25 points.
Jazzy Stars thrashed CF Bwin 3-1 to jump to the seventh spot with 24 points while City Rollers shocked ninth-placed Tin City FA 3-2 to earn their fifth win of the campaign. They are 12th with 17 points.
Flying Shooters and FC Sports also secured victories over Mabo Young Stars and Royal Stars to move to the 10th and 18th spots with 19 and 11 points respectively. It was FC Sports’ third win of the season.

Week 16 fixtures of the Tsenba Wummen League will hold across four centres in the Under 14 & 16 categories on Tuesday, July 6th after the exhaustion of the weekend games
Under 16
St. Monica will strive to close the three-point gap between them and second-placed FC Izam with the determination to secure maximum points against CF Bwin while Jazzy Stars will be eager to move further up the ladder with a winnable tie against Royal Stars.
City Rollers will fancy their chance when they go in the hunt for their sixth win of the season when the with whipping Boys, Mabo Young Stars.
The star match of the Tuesday fixtures in this cadre is between league leaders, Mees Palace FA, and fourth-placed Rahbam FA.
