Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Ejidike becomes Nigeria Football Supporters Club’s National Patron

The philanthropic gesture of Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike in all the nooks and crannies of the country has received rave review by critical stakeholders in the sports industry.

At a special reception held in Lagos, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club led by Rev. Samuel O. Ikpea, mni. unveiled chief Donatus Ejidike as its

national patron for his immense contributions to sports, particularly football in Nigeria.

Rev. Ikpea praised the Nnewi born sports enthusiast for his consistency, passion and all manners of donation to sports clubs, organisations and schools across the country.

He declared that the supporters club bestowed on him the position of national patron after carefully examined his track record as a cheerful giver, adding that the Pillar of Sports has identified with the supporters club both at local branches and national level.

At a well attended ceremony in Lagos, the Nigeria Pillar of Sports was decorated and awarded a meritorious certificate to function as patron.


Speaking after the conferment , the Nigeria Pillar of Sports enjoined the supporters to unite all factions and harmonise to support the Nigeria natonal teams.

Nigeria Pillar of Sports is currently on a nationwide visit to meet stakeholders and strategise on how to move sports to the next level.

The tour had given Pillar of Sports the unique opportunity to know more about the diversity and challenges of sports men and women.

Chief Ejidike last week visited Lagos, Anambra, Oyo, Delta, FCT and Osun States alongside chairman office of Nigeria Pillar of Sports Ajide Olayioye, seasoned sportscaster Bayour Issah, Alloy chukwuemeka and Joseph Igiri.
