Bayelsa Queens new signing Zainab Olapade has tipped herself to make an immediate impact on and off the pitch with the Restoration Girls.
The former Sunshine Queens midfielder joined Bayelsa Queens this summer and scored her first goal for the club against non-league side Honey Badgers on Tuesday evening In their first game of the Flying Officers Cup in Abuja.
“I have never doubted my abilities before,” Olapade told the Flying Officers Cup Media.
“I really hope I can do so well here at Bayelsa Queens, it is a club that has a rich history and playing for them means I have to always be at my best.
“I am happy for scoring my first goal for the club and hopefully I can score some more important goals for the team in this competition and when the league resumes,”She added.
Bayelsa Queens have three points and massive plus seven goals difference after their 7-0 annihilation of Honey Badgers on Tuesday.
