Former Bursaspor versatile midfielder and defender, Onyedika Paschal Okoli is set for a bigger career
move after his days with Turkish side, Bursaspor. The young enterprising Onyedika who shared dressing
rooms with Super Eagles assistant Captain, Willaim Troost Ekong, Shehu Abdullahi and Mikel Agu in
Bursaspor during 2017/2018 season is fired up to achieve more than before. “It was great playing
alongside Ekong, Shehu and Mikel Agu, I learnt a lot from them, I am inspired to break more grounds
this season,” Onyedika said.
Onyedika whose versatile nature in the midfield makes him a delight to watch, his ball winning and near
perfect ball distribution techniques stand him tall. Playing excellently in all the four defensive positions make a top utility option in any team which liken him to Super Eagles and Leicester City strong man,
Wilfred Ndidi.
The 23 year old Onyedika had a loan spell with Bosnian side, Celik Zenica in 2019/2020 before it was
mutually terminated late 2020 due to the club’s challenges. “I am back in Turkey and I wish to hit it bigger this time around with another club, I am making moves to join a new club, some clubs are are also in the picture, I hope in no distant time, my Manager and my Intermediary will come out with what
will better my career,” he believes.
