Head coach, Kano Pillars Volleyball Club, Musa Babamusa has re-echoed that his Volleyball team will win the 2020 Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup after they eliminated their major threat to the title, NSCDC in the semi-final game played on Tuesday in Ilorin.

Kano Pillars started the competition with a 3-0 loss to Sunshine Spikers before they picked up three successive victories over Nigeria Police Force (3-0), COAS Spikers (3-0) and NSCDC (3-1) to qualify for Wednesday final billed for the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Ilorin.

Babamusa is elated his players passed the greatest hurdle to their determination to win the title with the victory over NSCDC and he believes Nigeria Customs Service can’t stand in their way and the coveted trophy on Wednesday.

“I want to give thanks to the Almighty God for giving my team this grace to play this game. When we got here, I told you that my mission is to take the trophy and God has made my team to scale through NSCDC,” Babamusa told www.dasportstainment247.com in an interview.

“This is the obstacle I have to the trophy and now that they have been eliminated, nothing can stop me. I am going back to Kano with this cup. The game was very simple. We know them very well. We just went out to beat them. I know my boys and I don’t shout on the court. Whatever I have to tell them I do it at home and when they come out they execute it.

“I am very happy that my boys always play to instructions even though they are young players. Sometimes experience matters and they get confused at times but I am grateful to God that we were able to recover and we beat Civil Defence.

“The simple truth is that we outclassed Civil Defence and we will continue to beat them. I am here to take that trophy and nothing will stop me,” he concluded.
