Super Eagles attacker, Victor Osimhen has outlined the importance of Napoli’s return to winning ways after when they face Verona today away from home.
Osimhen and Napoli were humiliated 1-0 at the Stadio Armando Maradona by AC Milan last weekend and the Nigerian believes that the Partenopei still have wast it takes to win the league title despite the defeat.
” The defeat against Milan hurt us but we want to react immediately and redeem ourselves,” Osimhen noted in a chat with the club’s official website.
“The most important thing is to get back on the road to victory immediately. We are very sorry for the disappointment of domennica but we are also aware of our strength”.
“We will fight for the top until the end and we want to resume our journey. There are still many matches. We believe in it and our fans who give us so much strength must also believe in it.”
