NNL Super 4: Title race to the wire after El Kanemi, Bendel Insurance entertaining draw

El Kanemi Warriors continued their impressive start to the ongoing NNL Super Four in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State with another morale boosting 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance at the Samson Siasia Stadium yesterday.

The Borno Army began the Super Four with a 2-0 win over Doma United and are atop the table with four points and better goals difference ahead of Bendel Insurance who are also on four points.

The battle for who wins the NNL Super Four and also the champions of the NNL for last season, will go down to the wire when the concluding fixtures are decided today.

Bayelsa United, the hosts will trade tackles with El Kanemi Warriors today seeking their first victory in a rather disappointing tournament for the home team but El Kanemi need an emphatic win to keep Insurance at the bay in the battle for the Super Four title.

While Bendel Insurance will slug it out with Doma United knowing that they must title to topple the number of goals scored by El Kanemi Warriors.

The NNL Super Four which marks the end of the regular season suffered several postponements after the hosts, Bayelsa State, and neighbouring states were ravaged by flood.
