All is not well with Lobi Stars ahead of their Monday evening’s league game with Remo Stars and the current crisis may derail their performance this season if necessary steps are not taken to curb the situation.

Grapevine source informed that the Pride of Benue General Coordinator, Sam Adinghi and the Secretary have been sacked by the state government over what is yet to be truly ascertained while the unimpressive results of the team has also put the jobs of the club Vice Chairman, and head coach, Eddy Dombraye on the line as both are being seriously monitored.

Information gathered also indicated that there was no definite arrangements made to properly receive the match officials that would take charge of their Monday’s game in Makurdi with Remo Stars with the officials made to ply motorcycle from motor parks to their hotel an act that didn’t’ bode well for the club as being an hospitable side.

It is believed that all is not at ease at the former league champions’ abode and that the Benue State Government must wade into it before it pushes the club to the lower league.

“I can confirm to you that all is not well with Lobi Stars. There were some decisions taken recently by the state government which does not augur well for the club. The club’s General Coordinator and the Secretary have been told to leave without a formal official communication while so many things are going wrong too,” the source told our correspondent.

“Imagine the referees for our games were not properly received when they arrived. They had to make use of okada to get to their hotel. It was that bad. There are so many things to say as we hope the state government focus more attention on the team.”

Lobi Stars are presently 14th on the league table with 16 points from 13 games ahead of their today’s duel with Remo Stars.
