Ankara Keciorengucu winger, Ibrahim Olawoyin notched his seventh assist of the season for his Turkish 1st Lig side who got their first win from the last four games through Emeka Eze’s solitary strike in the victory over Menemenspor on Sunday.
Olawoyin has been enjoying rave review since he left Enugu Rangers for Turkey and his 29th game of the season in the league with seven goals, the winger made it seven assists with the sublime pass from which Eze grabbed his 11th goal of the season in the 30th minute of the encounter.
The important win which lifted Keciorengucu to the 12th spot with 41 points from 32 games also ended a three match losing streak for the capital city based side.
While Olawoyin and Eze both tasted actions for the duration of the game, Uzodimma and Alhassan who also started the fixture were substituted in the 74th and 87th minutes respectively.
Eze with 11 goals has featured in 26 games while the remaining two Nigerians who arrived at the club in January this year are also trying their best.
Ex- Kano Pillars and Akwa United striker, Ibrahim Alhassan has been involved in 11 games with one goal while Anthony Uzodimma who joined on loan from Kayserispor has played 13 games with three goals.
The four Nigerians and their teammates will be eager for a further turnaround when they travel to Bandirmaspor for May 1st league tie.
