Confluence Queens Striker, Joy Omewa has asked her teammates to play their best game as they face Bayelsa Queens on Wednesday afternoon in the ongoing Flying Officers Pre-season Championship in Abuja.
Omewa has made an impressive start to life in Lokoja after joining from Osun Babes in 2019.
The ‘New Direction’ Ladies started off with 2-1 loss to Nasarawa Amazons on Monday in a game they dominated and will be looking forward to getting a good result against the Restoration Girls on Wednesday.
“We played so well against Nasarawa Amazons but ended up on the losing side. I wasn’t really happy about it and thought we should have won,” Omewa told the Flying Officers Cup Media.
“My teammates and I put in our best, but I think we can all do better against Bayelsa Queens than we did against Nasarawa Amazons.
“I am confident of a victory on Wednesday and hope we can continue to do well as a team,” She stated.
