.Nigerian substituted after 42 minutes in the Foxes away draw with Everton

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is a doubt for Leicester City who hosts Leeds United in a league tie on Sunday at the King Power Stadium because of a hamstring injury.

Ndidi who only in December last year returned from long term injury layoff was substituted in the 42nd minute of Leicester City’s 1-1 draw at Goodison Park against Everton clutching his hamstring.

The Foxes head coach, Brendan Rodgers told club’s official website after the face-saving 1-1 draw that Ndidi would be monitored in the next couple of days to assertain the severity of the injury.

The Northern Irishman told the club’s official website: “Wilf (Wilfred Ndidi) was tight, it was the back of his hamstring, so we’ll see how that goes in the next couple of days. Jonny, it was just blurred vision in one of his eyes.”

Owing to injury that kept him out of football for almost three months, Ndidi has only played 15 games for Leicester City in all competitions with a goal to his credit.
