Achi Nnaemeka’s 51st minute strike was enough to guarantee Apex Krane’s place in the final of the Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Preseason Tournament after a 1-0 win over Ahudiya FC they will slug it out with reigning champions, Enyimba at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba tomorrow.
Apex Krane defeated Sunshine Stars in the quarter final in one of the major upsets recorded and the Agbor based club will now test the might of the People’s Elephant in Sunday’s final.
Apex Krane are undefeated in the tournament after victories over South City, Jaguar FC, Sunshine Stars and a draw against Empire FC and they will be buoyed by the defeat suffered by the Owena Whales in the last eight as they target Enyimba’s scalp in the grand finale.
Enyimba on their part are just a win away from retaining the title they won in the first edition after the walloped Jaguar FC 4-0 in the semi final played in Aba’s Enyimba Stadium.
Goals from Eze Ekwutos, Etuke Egbo,
Elijah Akanni and Murphy Junior assured Enyimba of a place in the final.
The final comes up tomorrow Sunday November 27th, 2022 by 3pm with the winner certain of mouthwatering prizes.
