Naija Ratels Manager, Bankole Oloowokere has noted that his side’s emphatic victory over Kaduna Queens will give the team needed boost ahead of games with Royal Queens and Edo Queens in the ongoing Flying Officers’ Cup 2020 holding in Abuja.
Olowookeere who doubles as the head coach of the Nigeria Women’s Under 17 team, Flamingos remains modest despite his team’s 5-0 mauling of Kaduna Queens, while admitting that his young team is just gathering momentum, but definitely won’t be pushovers.
“We are building a new team and I’m sure you know it will take some time before we have a near perfect team,” Olowookere told Flying Officers Cup Media.
“I have told the players not to get carried away by our victory against Kaduna Queens, even though I think it will spur us to do more against both Edo Queens and Royal Queens.
“We look forward to our next game against Royal Queens on Wednesday with a lot of optimism. Hopefully, we can get a favourable result,” he added.
