Super Eagles John Noble and Anayo Iwuala are in pole position to be picked by Enyimba coach, Fatai Osho ahead of today’s CAF Confederation Cup Group A tie in Aba against Entente Setif Sportive of Algeria.

But the People’s Elephant will play without three notable star players who are either nursing injuries or are sick.

Hassan Abubakar, a center-back is due to miss the game while Imoh Omot is also out of the tie because of a knee injury. Another key player set to miss the game is Sadiq Abubakar who has been sick for quite some time. Reuben Bala remains a long-term absentee.

Enyimba beat Al Ahly Benghazi of Libya 2-1 in the first game but lost 2-1 to Orlando Pirates in the second game played in Soweto.

Nigeria’s remaining representatives in Africa are second in Group A with three points and desperately need a home win to improve their chances of qualifying for the quarter-final.
