The NPFL Club Secretaries’ Forum of Nigeria has hailed the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Member FIFA Council, Amaju Pinnick over his re-appointment into the Organizing Committee of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Forum in a press statement signed by its Chairman, Chibuzo Nwogu and made available to www.dasportstainment247 com, described the reappointment of Pinnick into CAF’s flagship competition committee as highly commendable and a plus for African football.
He implored Pinnick to use his revalidation to advance the course of the continent’s interest and also to spread the tentacles of Nigeria among the comity of nations.
The body believes that by the reappointment, Pinnick’s football administrative prowess is observed and cherished internationally.
The Forum also noted that Pinnick’s reappointment and his continued rise both locally and globally has confirmed the Forum’s Award of Excellence in Administrative Leadership in Nigeria, Africa & Global Football bestowed on him during its maiden Annual General Meeting (AGM)/ Award ceremony in Aba, Abia State recently.
