6th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup: Pero Boys skipper salutes match officials

Pero Boys FC skipper, Dantala Kabar has hailed the performance of match officials after his team beat Elders FC Kushi 2-0 in one of the Matchday two of the Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup at the Filiya Centre on Monday.

The captain who spoke to the Adamu Yola Cup Media expressed satisfaction with the fair officiating of the match arbiters and he enjoined them to continue to remain forthright and keep to the tenets of their profession.

“Honestly, the officiating was fair and that made the game to be good. Match officials were not biased and that created a good atmosphere for players and fans,”

“If the officials continue to be fair, the competition will definitely end well.”

The skipper also thumbed up the effort of his team who secured the maximum points despite playing without some of their key players.

“The fact is that we missed them. They are our top players.

“The likes of Ibro, KB Kushi and Danny are all part of our first eleven but trust me, we had good players who played their hearts out and covered up for those players.

“We thank God for the victory. So we’ll do well going forward.”

In the other match played in Filiya centre, Gwandum Academy beat Tire Boys 3-0.
