Imo State female Handball team will continue their impressive run in Handball with a semi final duel with home team, Delta State this morning at the Handball Court of the Austin Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi- Uku at the ongoing Delta 2022 National Sports Festival.
Team Imo defeated Lagos 27-23 pts to scale through to the semi final. They finished first in Group D ahead of Plateau State in the group stage.
In other semi final game, Team Oyo will trade tackles with Team Plateau. Oyo pipped Sokoto 18-17 pts while Plateau beat Edo 16-15 pts in the quarter final decided yesterday.
Meanwhile, Imo male Handball team bowed out 19-15 pts to the hosts, Delta in the quarter final.
