While Enyimba prepare for the first leg quarterfinal of CAF Confederation away to Egypt’s Pyramids next Sunday, they will have to honour another outstanding domestic fixture ahead of the second phase of the domestic league starting this Friday.

After being guests of Rivers United on Sunday, the match this evening will reduce Enyimba’s fixture load to two.

Rivers United won by a lone goal in Port Harcourt after a late collapse gave Sunday Adetunji the impetus to nod home the only goal in the 85th minute and Enyimba will be looking forward to victory at home to push up the ladder.

If the People’s Elephant succeed, they will replace Rivers United at No 4 and be only three points behind log leaders Kwara United.

IfeanyiUbah have a poor away record – six losses in nine matches this season; the others ending in draws. They are placed a step ahead of the last spot, which is occupied by Adamawa United.
