Warri Wolves Caretaker Manager, Paul Offor has hailed the Seasiders’ battling 1-1 draw against Heartland FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri in a Nigeria Professional Football League tie played on Sunday.

The Seasiders have been unsuccessful in all their away matches before they met the Naze Millionaires having gone so close to picking valuable away points against Sunshine Stars and Wikki Tourists.

Speaking after the encounter, interim Head Coach, Paul Offor who marked his debut as the acting head coach, hailed his players for playing according to the game plan and also for being patient throughout their near misses before they were rewarded with an away point in Owerri.

” The boys worked hard for it,” said Coach Offor.

“We prepared for it, even though we had few training sessions before this game.”

“They came out and followed the instructions very very well. We’re very happy about the point.”

He stated that the team would continue to build on the result against the Naze Millionaires, noting that it was a new beginning at the club.

Warri Wolves will next be in action on Matchday 18 at the Delta State Polytechnic Stadium in Ozoro on Sunday against FC IfeanyiUbah.
