Former Enugu Rangers winger, Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Olawoyin continued to have an extraordinary season in the Turkish League after he netted his seventh goal of the season for Lig One side, Ankara Keciorengucu in the game played on Tuesday.
Though his capital based club was on the losing side in their away game at second placed, Umraniyespor, Olawoyin distinguished himself again and his effort was complemented by his three other Nigerians in the team: Anthony Uzodimma, Emeka Friday Eze, and Ibrahim Alhassan.
Keciorengucu were beaten 2-1 but Olawoyin has had 14 goals involvement including seven goals and seven assists from the 27 games he has played for his Turkish side this season.
It was the club’s third successive defeat in the league as they slipped to the 13th spot with 38 points from 31 games but they will seek a return to winning way when they host Menenenspor on Sunday in another league tie.
