Glasgow Rangers leaped to the third spot on the Scottish Premiership after they defeated Celtic 1-0 in the Old Firm Derby with the Nigerian duo of Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo playing integral parts with 90 minutes each under their belts.
Filip Helander popped home the only goal of the game in the 66th minute to propel the Gers to the third spot with nine points from four games.
Aribo has played all Rangers four league games with a goal against Ross County while Balogun has featured thrice already out of four games.
Aribo and Balogun will today head to Lagos, Nigeria for the 2022 World Cup qualifying games with Liberia and Cape Verde on Friday and Tuesday next week.
