Ottasolo eyes first away points at Ijebu United

Following an impressive first outing in the NNL against local rivals Sporting Lagos at the Teslim Balogun Stadium which ended goaless, the ‘Solo Boys’ are on the road this time to face western rivals, Ijebu United in one of the NNL Matchday three fixtures where they hope to secure maximum points at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

Ottasolo FC enjoyed a clean sweep of matches in the NLO, and will be Banking on that experience as they travel away from home for this mouth watering fixture against Ijebu united.

MATCH PREVIEW

This will be the first competitive game between these sides who qualified from different zones in the NLO.

While Ottasolo FC will rely on the experience of Eugene Charles and Oniyide Rilwan in the heart of their defence which helped produce a clean sheet in their first ever NNL match against Local Rivals, Sporting City in Lagos.

Ijebu United who are still basking in the euphoria of their two games without a loss will rely on the two games unbeaten run thus far to spur them to another positive points when they host ‘The Solo Boys’ in the Matchday three of the ongoing Nigeria National League.

“My team are working to be physically and tactically aware of their opponents, also working on converting our chances because that was our greatest undoing in the last match.

Ijebu United have so far played two matches in the NNL this season, winning their first home game against Calabar Rovers, while playing out a goaless draw against GoRound fc in Omoku.

The chairman of Ijebu United Mr. Tunde Olisa says his team are fortunate to have Ijebu-Ode as it’s home base because it is where the team also trains.
