One of the clubs expected to take part in the maiden edition of the Ottasolo Pre-season tournament, Lobi Stars, on Friday departed Makurdi, Benue State enroute Lagos for the championship expected to kickoff on Monday, November 1.
Lobi Stars is one of the 10 clubs that will take to the Mobolaji Johnson Arena pitch from November 1 to 7, with others like host team, Ottasolo Int. FC, Shooting Stars, Kwara United, Smart City, Remo Stars, Gombe United, Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors and Niger Tornadoes.
The coordinator of the competition, Bashir Badawiy, said the chairman of Lobi Stars, Tama Aondofar Emmanuel, confirmed the movement of the team and promised to be in Lagos by Saturday.
“Yes, I can assure you that Lobi Stars are already on their way to Lagos,” the Kwara United General Manager told Ottasolo Pre-season Media.
“We are almost set for one of the biggest Pre-season in Nigeria as we have put every necessary things in place for a successful tournament.
“All the teams are expected to be in Lagos latest Sunday morning because we are having the draws same day ahead of the commencement of the tournament on Monday.”
