Ankara Keciorengucu hat-trick hero, Emeka Eze has disclosed that he is delighted to grab his first hat-trick for the Turkish club but would be happier to see the club’s form improve better than it is presently.
Eze became an instant hero when his three goals helped beat table topper, Umraniyespor, and the Nigerian told our correspondent that Keciorengucu have what it takes to deliver top drawer performances like they did last weekend if they can remain consistent.
“I will say i am extremely happy to contribute my quota towards our home win. We need this type of performance consistently against both the top teams and the rest to show our seriousness,” Eze said from his base.
“We have lost too many points from winning or drawing positions because of some little mistakes. The result against Umraniyespor should be our reference going forward.”
The former Ebiede and Sturm Graz attacker said he and his teammates are looking forward to their Monday’s away fixture with Menemenspor with high hope that they can secure another positive result.
“We want to continue chasing as many points as we can. We are going to Menemenspor with high expectations. We believe we have overcome our challenges and are certain of good results In our subsequent games.
” I want to continue helping my team to ensure we do well. I am not going to say I will score this or that but I am hoping I get at least 15 goals.”
Eze who previously was on the payroll of Sturm Graz of Austria notched his sixth goal of the season from 12 matches in their last game while his compatriot and ex-Enugu Rangers winger, Ibrahim Olawoyin has played 11 games for the Turkish second division side with two goals to his credit.
The combinations of Eze and Olawoyin have helped the Turkish second division side to some top drawer performances as they are 17th on the league table with 13 points from 13 matches.
