Kwara United will continue their build-up to the start of the season with friendly games with Sunshine Stars and Remo Stars respectively on Thursday and Saturday.
The Harmony Boys have intensified their preparations for the upcoming season with lots of friendly games with the sole aim of surpassing the achievement of last season when they narrowly missed qualifying for the continent on technical ground.
Confirming the friendly encounter against Sunshine Stars and Remo Stars, Kwara United General Manager, Bashir Badawiy explained that the management has made it a point of duty to ensure that the Harmony Boys finish the season stronger than they did last season and is putting everything in the right perspective to achieve that.
“We decided to engage Sunshine Stars as we see them as one of the toughest teams in the NPFL and we will also be playing Remo Stars on Saturday in the continuation of our preparation for the coming season,” Bashir Badawiy told journalists.
Kwara United will face Sunshine Stars at the Ondo Sports Complex, Akure where they defeated the Owena Whales 2-1 last season but the return leg in Ilorin ended in a draw.
