Former Enugu Rangers midfielder, Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Olawoyin put up a Man of the Match display with a goal and an assist that steered Turkish First Lig side, Ankara Keciorengucu to a 2-1 win at home to Sakaryaspor on Sunday.
Olawoyin who had an excellent game capped it up with the opening goal of the game in the 76th minute. It was his second goal of the campaign after he opened his season’s account in their 3-1 win over Altay the penultimate weekend.
The ex- Abia Comets and one-time Super Eagles B player ensured the capital city club laughed last when he supplied the pass for Rashad Muhammed for what turned out to be the matchwinner. It was Olawoyin’s fourth assist of the season from four games.
But Kabongo Kassongo halved the deficit in the 84th minute for Sakaryaspor to make for a fascinating ending but Keciorengucu held on for their second win of the season.
Keciorengucu have moved to the second spot with seven points from four games and they will visit Bandirmaspor on Saturday gunning for a third straight win.
