Katsina United head coach, Azeez Muhammed has charged his players to take the Aiteo Cup Round of 16 tie with Gombe United seriously.
The Chanji Boys defeated El Kanemi Warriors on penalties in the Round of 32 and Muhammed told SportingLife that his wards must approach the Desert Scorpions with more caution because they have experienced players and seasoned coaches.
“Gombe United are like NPFL team and they cannot be taken for granted at all. They defeated Shooting Stars and they very good players and top notch coaches too,” Muhammed told www.dasportstainment247.com.
“We are happy with our result against MFM in Lagos and we are going into this game with the right confidence and state of minds that if we are serious from the start to the end. We know what they are capable of.
“We want to use the game to prepare for our weekend home game with Lobi Stars.”
