The President of Authentic Nigeria Football And Allied Sports Supporters Club ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi has described the late Chief Kasimawo Laloko as a result oriented Administrator who lived for Football and its development in different spheres.
Prince Ogunjimi said the late technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation was the true definition and description of patriotism adding that he was a tutor who fought for a proper football development channel for Nigeria.
Chief Kasimawo Laloko died on Sunday morning at a private hospital in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital after a brief illness, an incident which came as a shock to the Football fraternity in Nigeria.
ANFASSC President said “It’s a devastating news, but at the same time, “Duro Amene” as he was fondly called lived a good life, succumbing to the cold hands of death at 76 is a celebration of life, but when the world loses a good man, we grief and mourn”.
“Everyone at Authentic Nigeria Football And Allied Sports Supporters Club sends their condolence and we pray for his family to garner the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Nigerian Football has indeed lost an icon”.
Kasimawo Laloko was the founder of the defunct popular Pepsi football academy and he brought into existence so many scouting event.
Until his death, he was the Olori Parakoyi of Egbaland, a chieftaincy title conffered on him by the Alake and Paramount rule of Egba Land.
