Ex-NFF Technical Director, Laloko is dead; to be buried Monday

Former Technical Director, Nigeria Football Federation, Kashimawo Laloko will be buried tomorrow at his Gbonagun residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Laloko who died today, Sunday is to be committed to mother earth by 3.00 pm after his death was made public Sunday evening.

A statement from the family read: “The death has just been announced of Chief Kasimawo Laloko, Olori Parakoyi of Egbaland,this morning.

“He will be buried at his Gbonagun residence ,Abeokuta at 3.00 pm,tomorrow,Monday 29th March, 2021.”

He established the Pepsi Football Academy in November 1992 as a football school and based at the Agege Stadium (courtesy of the Lagos State Sports Council) the initiative secured the total backing of Pepsi in 1994 and has, since then, been titled the Pepsi Football Academy.

The Pepsi Football Academy, over the years has developed and grown into one of the most prestigious football academies in Nigeria.
