Further, he charged them to bring their experience to bear to improve football in the state saying “You are both expected to bring your knowledge into the development of football into the state, because your appointment is in recognition of your outstanding contributions to the development of football in Imo state and beyond.”

The two new Imo Football Association members expressed gratitude for the appointment which they said was a charge to do more.
