Former 36 Lion’s centre forward, Samson Ayinyoola has expressed his resolve to hit the ground running with his new Venezuelan club, Caracas FC, a club based at the heart of the South American nation’s capital city.
The Beninoise striker who was baring his mind at his ground breaking unveiling few days ago disclosed that he has come to Venezuela to face his challenges and decisions with utmost boldness.
He said he has arrived Caracas FC to succeed just like other players that have featured for the club and went on to achieve greater success before leaving and that he hopes to help the club achieve their set targets and goals for the season.
“…my hope will always be in my heart but some time I must choose. There is no life without challenge and decision. Some people have left this place looking for happiness, I came to Caracas to find mine,” Ayinyoola said in a short unveiling video of his posted on the club’s official website.
“I know I am far from home but I am not afraid. I am ready to face my fate and together we will be invincible.”
According to trusted transfer website, transfermarkt, Ayinyoola completed his move to Caracas FC on January 16, 2021 and he is yet to be allocated jersey number. Akinyoola is under contract with the Venezuelan top-flight side until December 31st, 2023.
He was among the five new players signed and unveiled by the club recently. Others are: winger, Ade Oguns (19 years and signed from 36 Lion, Nigeria), Goalkeeper, Eduardo Herrera (27 years and captured from Puerto Cabello), Centre Back, Rubert Quijada (31 years and signed from Alianza Lima, Peru), and Centre Forward, Edwuin Pernia (25 years and moved from CS Emelec of Ecuador).
No date has been set for the commencement of the 2021 Venezuelan Primera Division season having only ended the 2020 edition last month through an abridged format owing to the Covid-19 pandemic and www.dasportstainment247 com can report exclusively that the same abridged format would be adopted for the 2021 edition.
