Enyimba, Abia Warriors, and Plateau United have been lined up to have matches on Sunday on the opening day of hostilities of the Governor Ikpeazu Preseason Tournament billed for the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
The People’s Elephants are to slug it out with Cynosure of Abakaliki by 4pm on Sunday while Abia Warriors try Flight FC for size in a game scheduled for 12noon.
Plateau United face relatively unknown Abia Greater Tomorrow by 2pm while A&A FC, Uyo have a huge task against National League side, Abia Comets by 10am.
The draw as conducted by the organisers pitted Enyimba, Cynosure FC, A&A FC, Uyo, Abia Comets and Jewel FC, Aba in Group A while Abia Warriors, Flight FC, Ngwa United and Abia Greater Tomorrow in Group B.
The competition will hold between 15th and 21st November, 2020.
The first round games are billed for Sunday November 15th through Thursday, November 19th while semi-finals and the grand finale hold November 20th and 21st.
