The West African Football Union (WAFU-B) Zonal Qualifiers for the Inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League have been moved by a week according to the organisers of the competition.
UFOA WAFU-B confirmed the postponement on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, as the tournament which was initially slated to kick off on Saturday, July 17, 2021, will no longer take place on the hitherto date.
The competition is now postponed to take place from July 24 to August 5, 2021, in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
US Force Armées USFA (Burkina Faso), Rivers Angels (Nigeria), Hasaacas Ladies FC (Ghana), Onze Soeur de Gagnoa (Cote d’Ivoire), AS Police (Niger Republic), and Amis du Monde (Togo) are the participating teams for two slots available from the zone for the 2021 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League to be hosted by Egypt.
