The management of Bayelsa United has approved the appointment of Meremu Okara, John Aranka and Ernest Teigbanyo Salolomo to beef up the technical crew of the club.
In a statement signed by the club’s chairman Ebiki Timitimi and Secretary Ken Ekpolaemi the Restoration Boys appointment of the trio of Meremu Okara, John Aranka and Ernest Teigbanyo Salolomo became imperative to ensure that all hands are on deck for the club to achieve its aspirations at the end of the season.
The statement notes that adding the experience of the trio would strengthen the technical department of the club because of their awesome track records.
According to the statement coach Meremu Okara will serve as Chief Coach, while John Aranka will be the new team trainer. Diepreye Teibowei remains the Technical Adviser while Joseph Agekeme, and Dimie Pius are the others retained in the technical crew reshufflement made.
Also former Shark FC goalkeeper Salolomo will occupy the position of goalkeeper trainer to complement the effort of goalkeeper coach, Larry Arthur.
The statement directs the new coaches to resume immediately today at the camp base in Ogboloma.
The management equally thanks Governor Douye Diri and the Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for the opportunity given to them and promised to return the team to Nigeria Professional Football League at the NNL campaign.
