The 5th Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup has been further boosted as sports branding giants PIKINOFGOD Limited has sealed a partnership agreement with the organizing committee to provide branding services for the grassroots tournament.
Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup is arguably the biggest tournament in the North East at the moment with regards to the number of teams involved and level of branding already committed to a single tournament.
The chairman of the Organizing Committee Promise Uwaeme disclosed this news to journalists on Friday in Abuja.
“We are pleased to announce that PIKINOFGOD Ltd has agreed to partner with us in branding the tournament, they have experience, technical know-how and most importantly, the willingness and they are very excited to come on board,” Uwaeme told journalists.
Reacting to the development, PIKINOFGOD Ltd Acting Head of Corporate Branding Mr. Ogbu Paul John confirmed the news and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the project.
“We are very excited to be part of this tournament and I can confirm to you that the company is coming with everything we have go,” Ogbu stated.
“We will be making a joint statement with the organizers in the coming days on every parties’ obligations and commitments.”
The qualifying rounds will kick off on Monday 30th November 2020 in all four Local Government Areas of Gombe South.
A total of 16 teams will qualify from the 65 registered for the tournament.
Round of 16 will take place on the 17th December, 2020 at Billiri Township Stadium.
