2024 Gothia Cup: Younnachi FC opens door for young footballers as Under 17 Sweden Soccer Tourney screening holds in Lagos

Young footballers who are still finding it hard to make headway in the profession have been provided with a wonderful platform through the forthcoming Under 17 Sweden Soccer Tournament Screening scheduled to hold in Lagos, on Monday, April 8th, 2024.

The scouting tournament that will be held at the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos beginning from Monday is to be used to select players who are truly Under 17 that will feature at the annual Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The scouting tournament is spearheaded by Ndubuisi Orji, Chike Onyeneke,Nonso Onyeneke,and Frank Osankwe who are the owners of Younnachi FC and they have promised a level playing ground for all the youths that will take part in the mini tournament aimed at picking only the best Under 17 players for the Gothia Cup.

The organisers informed dasportstainment247. com that the scouting tournament billed for the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos and starting on Monday is virtually free for all the players that intend to take part as no fees has been charged for form while the successful players at the end of the tournament on Monday would have all their bills to the competition in Sweden taking care of by the owners of Younnachi FC.

“The screening is to form a team for a tournament in Sweden in July,” one of the organisers stated in an interview with dasportstainment247.com.

“The tournament is called Gothia Cup. It is the biggest youth football tournament in the world with over 80,000 people at the Olympic stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden.

“So we are forming a team that will go there and participate in the tournament.

“We are giving these kids opportunity to build their careers, get offers , to come out of crime and fraud .

“The screening starts in Lagos Ikeja on the 8th of April

“Everything is free from the screening to the tournament proper.Younnachi is taken care of,all the bills

“The Gothia Cup is a Swedish tournament for Under 17 clubs all over the world.”
