Mbadi Amanda (Bayelsa Queens, Left Back)
Osogbo is one of the toughest place to travel to in the league this season, but the Omoluabi Queens dropped their first point at home with the help of Mbadi Amanda who marshalled the back like ensuring that Osun Babes does not score more than one goal.
Nneka Julius (Edo Queens, Defensive Midfield)
After previous weeks defeat to Delta Queens, Nneka Julius ensured that Edo Queens returned to winning ways despite FC Robo Queens’ late scare. She won alot of balls from the Midfield, making it difficult for Gift Monday and others to operate.
Blessing Sunday (Osun Babes, Central Defender)
The former Delta Queens defender was pivotal in helping the back-line of Osun Babes avoid defeat against Bayelsa Queens by keeping the Restoration Girls attack line at bay save for Charity Reuben’s goal via a freekick.
Glory Ogbonna (Edo Queens, central Defender)
Ogbonna ensured that Super Falcons and FC Robo Queens forward, Monday Gift did not add to her five league goals by keeping it tight at the back for Edo Queens. She was great in the match and was voted player of the match.
Chiamaka Okwuchukwu (Royal Queens, Forward)
Chiamaka didn’t score for Royal Queens but kept a decent display which paved way for former Sunshine Queens player, Kehinde Aganmuyi to score her first goal against her former club last week.
Kalu Favour (DreamStar FC Ladies, Forward)
Favour scored her first goal of the season which was a delight to watch against Rivers Angels.
She made a superb turn before hitting a left foot shot from outside the box which Ibubeleye Whyte could not save.
The goal helped DreamStar FC Ladies played out a 1-1 draw with the defending Champions, Rivers Angels.
Chinyere Igboamalu (Nasarawa Amazons, Forward)
Chinyere’s goal against Pelican Stars ensured that her Club picked an away point in Calabar. The goal was her second goal of the season. She was visibly everywhere and was rewarded with a goal.
Chinenye Emenike (Confluence Queens Central Midfield)
Emenike marshalled Confluence Queens’ midfield ensuring that Ibom Angels didn’t pose much threat to their defense as they defeated relegation threatened Orange Ladies 0-1 at their backyard.
Ogechi Ukwuoma (Pelican Stars, Forward)
Ogechi scored her fourth goal of the season to force Nasarawa Amazons to a 1-1 draw.
She is her Club leading goal scorer with Elizabeth Zirike (Edo Queens), Monday Gift (FC Robo Queens), and Charity Reuben (Bayelsa Queens) ahead of her on the goal-scorers chat. Her goals proved to be crucial for resurgent Pelican Stars this season.

Paul Mene joined Royal Queens FC days to the kick off of the season after Coach Abayomi Olorunda resigned and have guided his side to a perfect home run as the newcomers are yet to drop any point at home.
