Heartland FC defender, Divine Ukadike has stated that they are doing everything possible to get the club out of its present predicament and are in Ibadan to surprise their hosts, Shooting Stars.
Both teams will engage each other in a Nigeria Premier Football League Matchday 11 tie but Heartland FC are chasing their first league win of the season and Ukadike opined that it is possible in their Sunday’s league tie.
He said they were demoralised to lose the home game with Enyimba after putting so much into the game but have put the loss behind them and are ready to play a good game against the Oluyole Warriors.
“It was a very good game. We tried to play to the coaches’ instructions but at the end, the result was not what we bargained for,” Ukadike told Heartland FC Media.
“We returned to training almost immediately after the loss and hoping to come out better in the next game with Shooting Stars. It is football.
“We must remain as professional as possible. We are focused on getting out of the present situation. We are trying to adjust to the coach’s pattern. We are not under pressure. We are going there to fight for the three points. We are hoping to get our first win in Ibadan.”
