Team Nigeria has qualified for the 4x100m and 4x400m Relay men’s final that will hold in the grand finale of hostilities a It t the ongoing World Athletics Under 20 Championship in Nairobi, Kenya today.
Nigeria quartet of Johnson Nnamani, Dubem Amene, Ezekiel Nathaniel and Bamidele Ajayi clocked 3: 06.70 seconds to qualify for today’s final. They will compete against Ecuador, Poland, Italy, Kenya, Jamaica, Botswana and Romania in the 4x400m final.
Nigeria’s Under 20 team are also in the final of the 4x100m men’s Relay after they finished with 39.33 seconds. Those that ran the race were Kingsley Emeka Unorgi, Ogheneovo Fakorede, Adekalu Fakorede, and Godson Oke Oghehebrume.
Nigeria is also through to today’s 4x400m and 4x100m women’s final while Ruth Agadama will take part in the Long Jump Women’s final to see they could help improve Nigeria’s medals haul in Kenya.
