GGanaian and Rivers United Centre forward Samuel Afful has made a come back to the team after recovering from muscle strain injury he copped last week during training session.
The former Talaaba and Azam FC hitman confidently said that he has overcome his inkury nightmare and poses for the second round of the Nigeria Professional Football League season which continues as from May 9th.
“I am very excited o return back to the team after my injury which kept me away for some time now,” Afful told www.dasportstainment247.com.
“Though it has not been easy because of the pains involved but I am fine now and am back to join the main training.
“I did my personal training yesterday just ascertain my confidence and I can happy say am ready for the second round of the league.
Speaking on the second stanza of the NPFL which will resume as from May 9th, Afful maintained it would be a better season for Rivers United based on the calibre of players in the team.
“I will say Rivers United has quality players including myself, we look forward to give our best as well pick CAF ticket which I am sure we will by the end of the season,” Samuel Afful assured.
