A fourth minute strike from Obi James propelled Kakuri United to the next round of the NSM/Walin Kakuri Football Tournament ongoing in Kaduna at the expense of Celtics FC.
The highly entertaining encounter left the fans with bated breath throughout and when James struck in the early minute of the tie it was initially thought it was going to be a goal-fest but Kakuri United held on to advance to the next round.
Zebra FC had earlier secured the first ticket to the next round after a 2-0 triumph of Campus Boys.
The tournament in its fifth edition is bankrolled by frontline administrator, Mallam Sani Abdullahi who holds the esteemed title of Walin Kakuri.
The tourney continues on Tuesday with another game.
