Nigeria Pillars of Sports, Ejidike advises Muslims to reflect sacrificial love & peace at Eid el Kabir

Eid Kabir is a period of sacrifice, love and benevolent of Allah which is a lesson to human race to embrace the love of Allah and lessons of love and sharing in the spirit of acknowledging God for blessings and provisions; hence the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike,J.P counsels Nigerians particularly the Muslim faithfuls to exhibit the teachings of love in this period.
In a statement issued by the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike to celebrate the Muslim faithfuls, he charged them use this period to preach peace in Nigeria as the country totters on precipice of security challenges ranging from banditry to kidnappings which are inimical to our society.

Ejidike sounded that the perpetrators are are hiding under religion beliefs which every citizens should not fall into their whims and caprices

He prayed: “May your prayers and sacrifices be acceptable to Almighty Allah on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir and I hope that the true spirit of the season fills your heart with happiness and good” as wishes Nigerians a memorable Eid-el-Kabir!

He reflected that sports unlike religion is embraced by all and a veritable tool to bring everyone together; hence, he tasked religious leaders to preach peace and encourage followers to embrace the spirit of sacrifice and sharing at this crucial period of our nation building.

“May Allah look upon you and your family with love on this honourable festive. And may you enjoy every moment of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir and years to come, Amin.” Prayed Ejidike.

He lamented the current security situation in Nigeria and tasked religious leaders to preach peace and love and oneness to ameliorate the situation.

Ejidike prayed that God to plant in us the lessons of Eid Kabir which are sacrifice, love and peace
