One of the most widely traveled, most experienced and most exposed journalists Africa has ever produced, Chief (Sir) Fan Ndubuoke, will today, November 12, 2022, lead and guide his first son, Dr Chimeremeze Ndubuoke, to the altar for matrimonial vows.
The heartthrob, Chimeremeze, is a Canada based medical doctor, and his woman of life is Njideka, also Canada based.
The marriage service starts at 10am at the Cathedral of the Transformation of our Lord (CATOL), by Imo State University, Owerri.
Reception follows immediately at 12noon at Oxygen Hotel and Resorts, Owerri. While the Ndubuoke’s country home at Aronta Mbutu, Aboh Mbaise LGA is made ready for drinks and other entertainments.
Recall that Ndubuoke was the chairman, Imo State Sports Commission under former governor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, when the minister of sports, Sunday Dare, declared that Imo was the home of sports!!!
He was one of the three Big Men that Floated the first all sports newspaper in the country – the Sports Links. Before that, he a part of the soaring Champion newspapers that rebranded sports journalism in the country and was the first Igbo to serve as national president of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
