Magaji heads FCT Volleyball Coaches Association caretaker committee

A three man caretaker committee headed by Christopher Magaji had been inaugurated to head the FCT Volleyball Coaches Association (FEVOCA).

The development was made known to newsmen after a meeting held in Gimbiya with 12 FCT coaches in attendance on Monday.

Magaji led committee has Kingsley Alika as the Secretary General while Ahmed Bashir of Royal Spikers of Karu will serve in the capacity of the Public Relations Officer (PRO).

The birthed Association also nominated a constitutional drafting committee, to be headed by Vincent Unogwu of the NSCDC and NILE University, with coach Abu Useni of GVCA Kuje and Chris Odhomi of Federal Ministry of Information as members.

The committees were given 3 months to execute the mandates adopted.

Christopher Magaji started volleyball at the Nigerian Military School Zaria between 1982 to 1987, played at the Nigeria University Games (NUGA) in 1990 and 1992.

He presently coach Trinity Sports Club in Maitama, Abuja and had opportunity to work with the coaches of Legend Spikers and Galant Spikers both of Kubwa.

He support the Coaches of ECWA team in Zone 4 and Pacers volleyball club Life camp all in Abuja and is committed to a viable and good working Association that will promote and grow Volleyball in Abuja.
