.Super Eagles goalkeeper ends the season with 7 clean sheets
Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye helped keep Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie before signing off to team up with new club, Watford who just got relegated to the lower league from the EPL.
Okoye was in awesome form for Sparta Rotterdam who defeated Heracles Almero 3-1 away from home on the last day of the season yesterday to keep their place in the Dutch Top flight.
Heracles who seemed comfortable and needed just a draw to retain their league status prior to the encounter must now compete with either ADO Den Haag or FC Eindhoven and two others in the relegation playoffs to confirm their status.
It was Okoye’s 30th league game of the season from 34 games and he kept seven clean sheets and conceded 40 goals. He helped Sparta Rotterdam to the 14th spot with 35 points from 34 games.
