Heartland Queens have embarked on an exciting pre-season tour which kicked off on Saturday 14th October with a friendly grade A match up against Delta Queens in Asaba which they lost 3-0.
This tour will help prepare them and to set the stage for a thrilling 2023/2024 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership season which starts on November 15th.
Heartland Queens lost the opportunity to reduce the deficit in the second half when they blew the spot kick and later paid for that miss by conceding a late goal in the final minutes of the game.
The clash was not just an exhibition of talent but a testament to the dedication and hard work put in by the players of Heartland Queens as they prepare for the upcoming challenges.
Heartland Queens next stop will be against Rivers Angels on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, after which the management will reveal the next stop.
