FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Flamingoes beat Naija Ratels ahead of DR Congo test

Flamingoes came back from a goal down to beat NWFL Premiership side, Naija Ratels 2-1 in a friendly game played yesterday in Abuja.

Agama Ziperekefeghe put Ratels ahead in the first half but Flamingoes emerged from the half time pep talk to score twice through Miracle Usani and Opeyemi Ajakaiye who notched the second goal late in the game to preserve the Under 17’s unbeaten run from four games.

They have beaten WACO Academy, Josiah Angels, FOSLA Academy before the Sunday win over Naija Ratels.

Flamingoes are preparing for the first leg of the first round of the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against DR Congo which holds in Kinshasa this weekend.
